This might be the longest time for me to able to read a book. Haha! That's because of the busy school schedules.
Last midnight, I was really struggling to finish this book. And guess what, I finished it at around three-oh-clock in the morning! Haha! However, I really really like the last part.
This novel written by Kathy Reichs, is a series of novels about her fictional creation Temprance Brennan. Like Reichs, Dr. Brennan is a forensic anthropologist. The story of this book revolves around the mysterious cases that hasn't been solved for many years. Together with it, as a child she had a friend named Evangeline Landry, who mysteriously disappeared when they were young. She solves different cases about missing girls and the undying memories about Evangeline, that she thought died many years ago.
Here's my favorite line from the selection, "Do not speak, Tempe. There is no need. We have met. We have touched. You read my poems. It is enough. Don't despair for me. We are all creatures of God, and I am at peace. You have given me a great gift my dear, dear friend. You have reopened my childhood. Sit with me awhile and return to your life. I will keep you always in my heart."
What about you, what books do you read?
Have a good night everyone! :)
